The light is a very important element and even more in some countries such as Iceland. Living there was an incredibe experience. I noticed there how light can influence the daily life. Indeed, candle are everywhere and bring a warm light during the long and cold winter. Creating candle holders was a good start but what shapes could I give to them ? I registered my voice saying « candle holder » in three languages and I extracted the waves which corresponded to each one of them. These waves gave me the profiles of each candle holder. I worked in a workshop to realize them with a turning wood machine. A language, a candle holder, that’s the leitmotif of the project.
